I was watching Andy Jassy’s keynote from re:Invent 2018 and while there were many interesting new features announced I still think the key was in his closing words at the very end of the talk. Listening what your customers really want, let your builders innovate and iterate rapidly. That is how your business can survive. Sounds simple but in traditional enterprise environment, both in hardware and mental -terms, it is a huge challenge.

Even if you wouldn’t agree AWS being the best choice for your builders, it is difficult to argue the idea of putting the customer first and letting people to innovate & try out new ideas rapidly.
